Zara Larsson Taps Shakira, PinkPantheress & More for ‘Midnight Sun’ Deluxe: ‘Summer Is Gonna Be Madness’

- Larsson drew inspiration from pop star Charli XCX, who released a deluxe version of her 2024 album "Brat," stating, "I've always said I wanted to do collabs with girls."
- In a video shared Wednesday, Larsson picked out kitschy keychains at a gas station, each labeled with collaborator names: Tyla, Kehlani, JT, Madison Beer, BAMBII, Margo XS, Emilia Mernes, Malibu, Eli, and Helena Gao.
- Following her ascent to "main pop girl" status, Larsson will accept the Breakthrough Award at Billboard Women in Music on April 29, after recently earning her first top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with PinkPantheress on "Stateside."
- Captioning the announcement, the singer declared, "This is just the beginning of girls trip!!! This summer is gonna be madness," as the project builds on momentum she has found in recent months.
