When asked whether India was doing what Bangladesh expected, Muhammad Yunus responded without hesitation: "No." He confirmed that Bangladesh had written to the Indian government requesting Hasina's extradition.
Yunus, an advisor to the interim government of Bangladesh, made a statement about India during an interactive program organized at Chatham House in London. He alleged that the statements made by Sheikh Hasina while staying in India are spreading anger in Bangladesh, but PM Modi shrugged it off by calling it a matter of social media.
