A new report by the Council for Countering Digital Hate has claimed that YouTube's algorithm recommended harmful eating disorder content in one in 9 videos shown to simulated 13-year-old accounts in 2026, down from 1 in 3 in 2024, following the introduction of the U.K.'s Online Safety Act and the EU's Digital Services Act.
