Sylvan Lake RCMP have charged a youth with weapons offences. Around 9 p.m. on June 16, RCMP responded to a call about a male youth pointing a firearm out the passenger side window of a vehicle at a pedestrian walking along the sidewalk. RCMP located the vehicle and arrested the occupants without incident. Through investigation, a replica-style firearm (CO2 air pistol) was located and seized from the vehicle.
