- Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 18 Fold in China, introducing its first wide foldable smartphone to compete directly with Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8.
- On the design front, the Xiaomi 18 Fold weighs 219 grams and measures 10.68mm when folded, housing a 5.38-inch cover screen and 7.58-inch internal panel both reaching 4,000 nits peak brightness.
- Xiaomi claims the display tech makes the screen 178% stronger and 29% more impact resistant compared to the Mix Fold 4. Dragon Crystal Glass 3.0 and IP58/IP59 ratings ensure durability.
- Pricing starts at 10,999 yuan , with a premium ceramic version available for 15,999 yuan limited to 1,500 units. No global release date has been announced.
- The Leica-branded rear camera system features a 200MP main lens and 50MP periscope shooter, positioning the device competitively against the OPPO Find N6 at 9,999 yuan and HONOR Magic V6 at 8,999 yuan.
