vivo X Fold6 Makes Global Debut: A New Foldable Powerhouse for Mobile Productivity
The foldable adds a 6,900mAh battery and a 200-megapixel main camera, while launching outside China without price or market details.
- Vivo's X Fold 6 is launching globally with a tall 20:9 aspect ratio cover display that opens to an 8.02-inch internal panel, though the design feels oddly old-fashioned compared to modern foldable standards.
- While Apple and Samsung pivoted to shorter, wider form factors with the iPhone Duo and Z Fold 8, the X Fold 6 maintains the dimensions of Vivo's previous foldable models.
- Under the hood, the device pairs a custom "Super Edition" of the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip with a 6,900mAh battery and a 200-megapixel main camera sensor ranked among the largest on any foldable phone.
- The 8.02-inch internal panel unfolds from a 6.51-inch cover display, though the device's visible screen crease lags behind newer rivals and the IP59 rating is good but not top-tier.
- Vivo launched the X Fold 6 in China this past June and is now rolling out the device globally, though the company has not disclosed pricing or specific regional availability.
