Wyoming inmate sentenced for child pornography dies at cancer center

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Corrections recently announced that Randy Nelson (inmate #34802), died on Oct. 5 at the Huntsman Cancer Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. A release from the WDOC states that Nelson was convicted on Aug. 13, 2023, in Sweetwater County on one count of possession of child pornography (W.S. 6-4-303biv).
