- On Thursday, the WPL 2026 Auction will take place in New Delhi with 277 players competing for 73 available squad slots across five franchises ahead of the fourth edition.
- Jess Jonassen has withdrawn from the auction due to a consistent shoulder injury, announced at the pre-auction briefing on Wednesday, November 26, after 24 matches with Delhi Capitals Women.
- Several injured players remain in the auction pool, including Pratika Rawal, Yastika Bhatia and seamer VJ Joshitha, who cannot join the mandatory 15-person squad or be replaced if selected, while Pooja Vastrakar is not fully fit and Kashvee Gautam is declared fully fit.
- On November 27 the marquee bidding will begin with Alyssa Healy, Meg Lanning, Amelia Kerr and Laura Wolvaardt, while Indian marquees Deepti Sharma and Renuka Singh are expected to attract huge bids.
