Work Zone On I-24 Near Calvert City Temporarily Removed
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the Interstate 24 work zone near Exit 27 (Kentucky Dam/Calvert City) in Marshall County has been lifted. Work to remove barrier walls in the westbound lanes was completed at about 9 a.m. on Dec. 20. The project, which includes reinforcing bridge shoulders over U.S. 62 and expanding the eastbound I-24 on-ramp at U.S. 62, will resume in spring. An advisory will be issued in advance of the restart.
