The female relay of the modern pentathlon made up of Giraly Marcano and Osmaidy Arias, not only won for the first time in its history the gold medal in the Central American and Caribbean Games, but also served for Venezuela to officially finish in fourth place in the edition of Santo Domingo 2026, with a flow of 49 golden preseas, 70 silver and 97 bronze, for a total of 216, far above those reached in San Salvado 2023.
