Women's Lacrosse Comes Up Short at MIT, 13-11 - Springfield College
Cambridge, Mass. – April 16, 2025 – MIT used a big second quarter to defeat the Springfield College women's lacrosse team, 13-11, in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) contest on Wednesday evening at Jack Barry Field.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Back-to-back goals from senior Julianne Flusche (Ridgewood, N.J.) during the first six minutes of the fourth quarter created enough of a cushion as the MIT women's lacrosse team held on to defeat Springfield College, 13-11, in NEWMAC action on Wednesday night. Flusche finished with four goals while senior Samantha Andresen (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) totaled four goals and two caused turnovers for the Pride.
