Fifteen suspects arrested after police investigations of sexual violence exploiting a cultural festival, with over 500 women's groups demanding prosecution under Nigerian law.

- Acting on directives, CP-SAT operatives analysed video evidence, arresting the alleged organiser and four others while identifying eleven additional suspects by name, urging victims and witnesses to provide credible information confidentially.
- Amid mounting outrage, Bolaji Abdullahi, spokesperson of the African Democratic Congress, condemned the attacks, criticised the Governor of Delta State's silence, and CP Aina Adesola pledged prosecutions.
- The coalition pointed to the Violence Against Persons Prohibition Act, saying threats and intimidation of affected women are punishable offences under Nigerian law and must be prosecuted.
