In the midst of carnival revelry, a Westmoreland woman is nursing wounds after an ATV stunt rider collided with her vehicle on Hope Road in St Andrew. “I was turning off Ardenne Road when the rider came across the road while doing a stunt and ran right into me,” said Salamgie Bahabour in a frantic state. RNC Caution Youth on ATVs
Spring is here and the RNC is issuing a reminder to young riders of the importance of adhering to off-road vehicle laws. Last summer the RNC and emergency health care officials raised the alarm about the number of serious injuries resulting from ATV or off-road vehicle use.
