A woman in her 80s was taken to a hospital after being hit by a Massachusetts State Police cruiser traveling at a “very low speed” in Brookline Wednesday, State Police said.A State Police Patrol Supervisor responded to the crash around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Route 9 and Hammon Street in Brookline. Police believe the marked cruiser made contact with the woman at a “very low speed” before she fell and hit her head.
