Woman, 82, rescued after being trapped in vehicle that crashed in canal

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — An 82-year-old woman was pulled from a vehicle Friday after being trapped for nearly 24 hours after the car veered into a water-filled ditch the day prior. The woman, whose identity was not released, had non-life threatening injuries, said sheriff’s Lt.
