[Opinion] With its referendum initiative on Ukraine, DK is protecting its own voter base from Péter Magyar

In 2022, DK was of the opinion that it was pointless to try a referendum under the Orbán regime, but now they have submitted an initiative on Ukraine's EU membership. This is sending a message to opposition voters that, unlike Péter Magyar, they are the ones who are truly standing up to Fidesz.

"Péter Magyar, who considers himself an exclusive force, has come face to face with everyone else who makes his voice heard," the DK politician wrote in his post.
