'It's been challenging': Families welcome home Wisconsin National Guard troops after 10-month deployment

Families lined up with signs and smiles Friday to welcome 76 troops home, reuniting after months apart that included missed birthdays, anniversaries, and everyday moments.

Wisconsin Army National Guard troops return home

Seventy-six Wisconsin Army National Guard troops returned home on Friday, Sept. 25, in Appleton. The troops are from the 1-121st FA, Wisconsin Army National Guard, which is headquartered in Oak Creek, and includes Battery A in Hartford, Battery B in Two Rivers, and the 108th Forward Support Company in Sussex. The battalion is part of the 157th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, based in Milwaukee.
