The MariBell Transmission Project is part of a larger 273-mile transmission line, and crosses six counties in the two states. It’s being developed in partnership with GridLiance Heartland, a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Transmission, based in Florida. The project was approved by the Midcontinent Independent System Operator in December, and is expected to come online
