Windtech International - Biome Renewables and Enercon collaborate on wind turbine noise reduction technology

Enercon has signed a memorandum of understanding with Canadian company Biome Renewables to explore the integration of Biome’s FeatherEdge serration technology on Enercon wind turbines. Initial joint tests with Enercon’s customer Schierloh Engineering in Germany suggest that the technology could deliver further acoustic benefits for noise-sensitive sites.
