At 12:02 p.m. on Thursday, the National Weather Service released a wind advisory valid from Friday 11 a.m. until Saturday 5 a.m. for Oneida, Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga, Tompkins, Madison and Cortland counties.The weather service comments, “West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts of 45 to 50 mph expected.”
