Wilmot council votes to move forward with controversial statue project

The Prime Ministers Path project in Wilmot Township has been a controversial topic. The plan was to place 22 bronze statues, including one of Sir John A Macdonald, in the park beside the township offices in Baden. But the project was put on hold in June 2021 and the statues were removed and put into storage after pushback from community members and activists.
