Wichita State sweeps Tech to open Golden Eagle Invitational

Tennessee Tech made a valiant comeback in the third set against Wichita State on Thursday, but the Shockers took the three-set sweep in the first day of the Golden Eagle Invitational presented by Holiday Inn of Cookeville.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Wichita State (5-2) earned its second sweep of the day with a 3-0 win over host Tennessee Tech (2-5) at the Golden Eagle Invitational.
