Why There Are Extra Road Closures in Gelderland This Year

Anyone driving through Gelderland these weeks can hardly avoid it: diversions, traffic jams and road closures. From the A12 to the A73 and from the N302 to the A28: the province seems like one big construction site.

The budget for extending the A15 will be increased by more than 1 billion euros. Minister Barry Madlener says this money is needed because of increased prices, for example for raw materials.
