Bart De Wever (N-VA) explained in parliament the position he will take for our country to the NATO summit in The Hague next week. Belgium will accept the new standard of 5 percent, but will plead for "the greatest possible flexibility" because of our budget problems. De Wever also lashed out at the chairmen of CD&V, Vooruit and MR who are disrupting the government's diplomatic approach with their strong criticism of the new standard.
