WHO says over 460 people reportedly killed at a hospital taken by Sudanese paramilitary forces
- On Sunday, the Rapid Support Forces seized El-Fasher, state capital of North Darfur, gaining control of major western cities; the Darfur Joint Protection Force said RSF executed more than 2,000 civilians on 26 and 27 October.

Sudan’s paramilitary forces killed hundreds of people at a hospital, including patients, after they seized the provincial capital of North Darfur over the weekend, according to the UN, displaced residents and aid workers, who described harrowing details of atrocities.
Arab RSF fighters reportedly “murdered in cold blood everyone they found in the hospital.”
The attack follows the capture of Al-Fasher, the last stronghold of the Sudanese Army in the region, who was subjected to daily sieges and attacks since May 2024.
World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said more than 460 people were killed at a hospital in Sudan's Darfur region that was seized by paramilitary forces over the weekend.
