Driver in custody following foot chase

The Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) says they are on scene in the area of Eugenia Drive and Zell Drive regarding a foot chase. They say deputies stopped a black passenger car and the driver fled on foot. The driver was located behind the AMC and is now in custody. There is no threat to the public at this time, the WCSO says.
