The General Staff said more than 110,000 Russian troops are concentrated in the Pokrovsk area and are attempting to penetrate defenses by sending small infantry units between Ukrainian lines.
The staff will deploy "forces (...) in the direction of Pokrovsk", where the Russian army is advancing. But according to the strategic operational group of the Dnipro troops, these are small group penetrations through the first line of defense, "but not from a conquest of territories".

The Defense Forces of Ukraine are taking effective measures to stop the enemy's advance in Dobropillia and Pokrovsk directions, in particular, they are destroying small groups of the enemy and saboteurs who have penetrated a number of settlements there, according to a message published on the Telegram channel of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Tuesday.
