The General Staff said more than 110,000 Russian troops are concentrated in the Pokrovsk area and are attempting to penetrate defenses by sending small infantry units between Ukrainian lines.
The staff will deploy "forces (...) in the direction of Pokrovsk", where the Russian army is advancing. But according to the strategic operational group of the Dnipro troops, these are small group penetrations through the first line of defense, "but not from a conquest of territories".
