MIA VALBUENA (HBUSD photo). The Marina Vikings staged a remake of their earlier win over the Westlake Warriors on Friday and ended up winning the CIF-SS Division 3 softball title at Deanna Manning Stadium in Irvine. That 8-1 win over the Warriors echoed an earlier 12-2 victory by Marina back in March. Marina High School’s softball team staked ace pitcher Mia Valbuena to an early two-run after a half inning and the Vikings were in control after that rolling to an 8-1 victory over Westlake Saturday evening in the CIF DIvision 3 final at Deanna Manning Stadium.
