West Virginia State Schools Superintendent Michele Blatt said Nov. 12, 2025, that schools have lost 2.5% of their students in the past year. West Virginia experienced the sharpest student population decline in the nation from 2020 to 2024.

Anoka-Hennepin sees decrease in student enrollment
