West/Cibitoke Region: Two people accused of witchcraft killed in less than two months

Two people accused of witchcraft are already killed and several others threatened with death within a period of not more than two months. The victims are in most cases elderly people. Targeted survivors flee to avoid being lynched by angry residents. Human rights defenders fear popular justice and do not exclude cases of land disputes that would originate from it. The administration took this issue in hand.
