"We're Going to the Gestapo": a Political Prisoner on 10 Years in Prison and the Future of Belarus

Belarusian anarchist, blogger, journalist and former political prisoner Mikalai Dedokas has spent 10 of his 37 years in prison. He was first arrested in 2010 in the so-called “anarchist case”. At that time, M. Dedokas was accused of attacking the Russian embassy in Belarus and participating in an illegal event. The man was sentenced to prison, but he did not admit his guilt and was released after 5 years on parole.
