Areas with a high number of Welsh speakers will receive additional support to strengthen the language in their communities, This comes after Welsh Government ministers have accepted the recommendations of a report. Following a two-year study by the Welsh Communities Commission led by Dr Simon Brooks, the Welsh Government has received several proposals to protect the Welsh language as a community language.
