Wanted Felon Arrested in Van Zandt County After Stolen Vehicle Stop

A wanted felon identified as Mark A. Thomas of Wills Point was arrested on March 10, 2025, after deputies with the Van Zandt County Sheriffandrsquo;s Office stopped him in a stolen vehicle. Deputy J. Cortez initially took a stolen vehicle report and, through investigation, identified Thomas as the suspect. Cortez and Deputy D. Bible tracked Thomas to a known location and, with additional deputies, stopped the stolen vehicle when Thomas drove by.…
