Vehicle Takes Out Pole, Flips on Lanes Mill Road

Emergency personnel are on scene of an overturn accident in Lakewood this evening. At around 8:00 PM, the driver reportedly struck a utility pole on Lanes Mill Road before overturning. The driver – and possibly other occupants – reportedly fled the scene into the nearby woods. Expect extensive delays and detours for the repairs.

Wanted Driver Flees Traffic Stop, Crashes into Pole in Commerce

A driver with an outstanding arrest warrant fled a traffic stop in Commerce on Saturday night, leading to a pursuit and a subsequent crash into a telephone pole. On May 3rd, 2025, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Commerce Police Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by an individual known to have an active arrest warrant.
