The smallest municipality in East Moravia, Hostějov in the Slovak Republic, with forty-two inhabitants, is usually at the top of the districts with the highest voter turnout. In the last parliamentary elections, 89.47 percent of voters came to cast their votes in the ballot box, this time it was eighty percent.
A survey by NMS Market Research for the Novinky.cz server shows that this year's parliamentary elections shook the loyalty of voters. Andrej Babiš's ANO movement relied on an exceptionally loyal core, but the key to victory was the ability to attract voters from other parties and activate people who did not come to the polls at all four years ago.
