Car manufacturer Volvo has visited Skoda to bring in Klaus Zellmer as CEO and chairman.
Klaus Zellmer will step down as CEO of Škoda Auto. He will become CEO of Volvo Cars from October 1, 2027 at the latest, the Swedish automaker from the Chinese Geely group announced. Zellmer will replace Håkan Samuelsson.
The new CEO, Klaus Zellmer, is being recruited from Skoda despite prior speculation suggesting an internal candidate, writes GP's Valdemar Lönnroth.
The Swedish automaker will bring Klaus Zellmer from Skoda. The manager will succeed Hakan Samuelsson next spring.
