As the long days of summer draw to a close, many of us begin to settle into routines that bring comfort and rhythm to the weeks ahead. For some, it’s harvesting gardens or preserving fruit for the winter months. For others, it’s signing up for classes, taking up new hobbies, or getting back to a favourite activity group. At Community Care, we’re reminded each fall of another tradition that keeps this community strong: volunteering.
