Vols forward Cade Phillips out for the remainder of the season

- Earlier this year, Cade Phillips initially dislocated his left shoulder on Jan. 4 and reinjured it in the offseason while playing with a protective brace covering his left arm.
- Phillips had been starting regularly and started nine of 10 games, averaging 16.9 minutes, 3.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, and has played 61 games over three seasons with 65.4% shooting.
- With Phillips out, Tennessee will rely more on bigs Felix Okpara and JP Estrella for frontcourt minutes, though Estrella has recently dealt with a bone bruise and missed time after a Nov. 26 ankle injury.
- Coach Rick Barnes said, `We will sincerely miss having Cade on the court and he is certainly disappointed he won’t be able to play the rest of the season, but it is essential he gets healthy`, in a school release.
