Volcano buses get the go ahead

Tinajo Ayuntamiento has approved the purchase of three electric buses for more than €1 million to shuttle tourists to sight-seeing areas and walking routes in and around Timanfaya. The purchase follows a pilot project by the Cabildo which saw the closure of car parks at the Volcán del Cuervo and Caldera Blanca, with shuttle buses ferrying visitors to the sites from Mancha Blanca.
