According to Dávid Vitézy, the Budapest-Fót-Veresegyház-Őrbottyán-Vác railway line will be renewed by 2030 with faster and more frequent trains and barrier-free platforms.
The affected section will be renewed, and the investment will be completed by 2030.
One of the railway lines with the greatest potential in the capital agglomeration, the Budapest-Fót-Veresegyház-Őrbottyán-Vác railway, will be renewed, the Minister of Transport and Investment wrote on his Facebook page on Saturday.
Another mega investment at MÁV, the suburban railway will be renewed with 174 billion - with up to six trains per hour, barrier-free stations and new tracks in several places.
A modern suburban line could be built by 2030 with 174 billion forints of EU funds brought home from the Cohesion Fund (IKOP plus).
