- In May, Loudoun County Public Schools launched a Title IX probe into male students at Stone Bridge High School after a March incident involving a student assigned female at birth who identifies as male, and two male students were suspended for ten days.
- The campaign surpassed its target and reached almost $130,000 by Thursday, and the parents say the GiveSendGo crowdfunding page will enable them to pursue legal action.

- The district now faces claims of free speech and religious-discrimination violations tied to Title IX, Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares called it `misuse of authority`, and The Washington Post reported prior harassment of the alleged victim.
