Extinction Rebellion activists arrested at NATO summit protest in the Hague

About two hundred people were arrested on Wednesday when they tried to block the A12 motorway in The Hague. Some managed to get onto the road and briefly stop traffic, but they were quickly removed. Another group was stopped when they tried to enter the Utrechtsebaan. They were demonstrating against the NATO summit, the war in the Gaza Strip and climate policy.
