Eggs from the Uherské Hradiště region contain up to four times the amount of antibiotics allowed. The State Veterinary Administration therefore wants to remove them from the market. If anyone has them at home, they should not consume them. Customers can return them.
The State Veterinary Administration (SVS) has ordered the withdrawal of 239,310 eggs from the producer AGRI – M from Mistřice in the Uherskohradišť region from the market. They may be defective due to the above-limit amount of antibiotics, SVS spokesman Petr Vorlíček told ČTK on Friday.
