- Coinciding with the notification, ICC member states voted 82 of 125 on Friday to remove Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan following allegations of sexual misconduct.
- The move comes as Rodríguez aligns the nation more closely with the United States, which has actively sought to dismantle the tribunal through sanctions against prosecutors.
