SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- A two-vehicle crash that led to a vehicle fire caused major delays at the Monitor Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel Wednesday morning. Virginia State Police said the crash occurred around 6:16 a.m. According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), all north lanes were closed at the MMMBT as a result of the fire.
