- Citing the severity of the charges, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Amit Kumar Yadav rejected the bail application on Monday; defense counsel Rana Yadav announced they would file a fresh application in the sessions court.
- Following the incident, Jaiswal reported receiving 'abusive messages' and 'death threats' on social media, while Sigra Station House Officer Sanjay Kumar Mishra said police are tracking the social media IDs from which the threats were sent.
