Work will affect N.C. 168 this week A company installing a utility underground plans to reinstate a lane closure on N.C. 168 southbound near Baxter Lane this week. A natural gas line is being bored underneath the five-lane highway, requiring a contractor to close one southbound lane for much of last week.
