New York, Jun 1 (EFE).- U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said this Sunday that the steel tariffs imposed by the Donald Trump administration will have a “significant impact on the steel industry” by ensuring the labor stability of U.S. steel workers. The U.S. president reported Friday that the 25% to 50% increase in steel tariffs will enter into force on June 4, and clarified that the increase also applies to aluminum.
