Stocks in the United States closed mixed, beverage maker Coca-Cola grew, automaker Tesla headed lower. In the foreign exchange market, the dollar weakened. The Dow Jones index rose 0.3 percent to 44,593.65 points today. The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index closed almost unchanged, up 0.03 percent to 6068.50 points.
