Copper price rises above $10,000 per tonne
Copper prices rose to just over $10,000 a tonne on Thursday, the highest level since October. The price of the widely used metal is being boosted in part by expectations that US President Donald Trump will impose import duties on copper. Traders are already stocking up on copper to ship to the United States ahead of the tariffs.
